TR/TPR combines the elasticity and flexibility associated with rubber with the processing advantages of thermoplastic materials. Unlike conventional thermosetting rubber, TR/TPR can generally be processed through conventional thermoplastic molding and extrusion processes without vulcanization.
Depending on the formulation and application, production scrap and processing waste can be reground and reused, supporting more efficient material utilization.
TR/TPR materials can be processed using rotary molding machines, table-type injection molding machines, vertical injection molding machines, and direct-injection molding systems, depending on the specific formulation and application.
